Upcoming Webinar – R&D Project Funding: Test Vehicle Innovation Pipeline (TVIP)

August 13, 2024

The NSTC’s second R&D jump start topic will focus on leveraging economies of scale in shared test vehicles to drive innovation. For this program, test vehicles are defined as common sets of standardized processes, including measurement and data analysis, with reusable masks or partially fabricated wafers.

Join us to learn more about the TVIP program to develop new test vehicles and/or modify and transition already proven test structures for use by NSTC members.

What: This informational webinar will introduce the TVIP project and provide preliminary information and timelines in advance of the Proposers’ Day event on September 10 in Washington, D.C.

Why: Bringing new technology from “lab-to-fab” is a difficult and costly enterprise. The development of a comprehensive set of shared test vehicles can be one way to accelerate innovation and technology transition.

The objective of the TVIP program is the successful creation of end-to-end prototyping capabilities through test vehicles which will integrate test chip designs, mask sets, foundry wafer processing, measurement, and data analysis to accelerate the “lab-to-fab” transition. The challenge will be to define and develop a comprehensive set of test vehicles in support of the industry.
