At the NSTC, we’re creating the future of technology and accelerating the speed of innovation to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

A key component of the CHIPS and Science Act, the NSTC is a public-private consortium creating an unprecedented infrastructure to accelerate R&D innovation, develop a skilled workforce, and secure the United States’ leadership position in the global semiconductor industry.

This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create the technologies that transform the world – and you can be part of it.

Why Join?

Members are the engine that makes the NSTC run. NSTC membership is as diverse as the industry it represents, and it spans the entire semiconductor ecosystem. This pivotal platform brings together semiconductor companies, academic research institutions, governments, workforce organizations, and others to collaborate and propel the U.S. semiconductor industry forward.

Membership

NSTC membership is offered in two categories, Core and Affiliate, tailored to support the needs of the broad semiconductor ecosystem.

Core Membership

Core membership is designed for organizations which seek to engage with the full suite of NSTC offerings. Core membership will provide opportunities for collaboration among other NSTC members; access to NSTC facilities, programs, and resources; and access to workforce development best practices and initiatives through the NSTC Workforce Center of Excellence.

NSTC Core members include:

  • Companies operating within the semiconductor ecosystem – spanning design, manufacturing, materials, end-users, and others
  • Academic institutions conducting semiconductor-related research
  • Research labs engaged in semiconductor research activities
  • Non-profit entities with an emphasis on semiconductor R&D

There are three pillars of NSTC membership: Educate, Collaborate, and Innovate. NSTC Core members have the opportunity to engage in the full suite of these benefits:
